D-day beaches and Bessin

The D Day beaches stretch on a large part of the Normandy coast. They encompass famous areas such as the Sainte Mère Eglise, the Pointe du Hoc, Omaha beach, the Arromanches artificial port and Pegasus bridge. Museums, cemetaries and exhibits dot the entire area, making it worthy to spend a few days in the area to visit all the interesting places.

We could only catch a few of the above on photo, but have visited them extensively in the past.
