This website uses a custom Zenphoto theme: Paradigm.
Theme characteristics
Paradigm has been designed to allow maximum flexibility. It works well with websites that have lots of text data: news, pages, tags, as well as image albums.
It provides a few useful characteristics: main navigation with dropdown menu (built automatically), local navigation with accordion menu, sidebar tag cloud, support for extra content and codeblocks.
It is recommended for using with the following Zenphoto plugins:
- Zenpage
- Print album menu
- Image album statistics
- Contact form
- Google map
It does not use deprecated functions.
Responsive
This theme is based on the Bootstrap framework (version 3.3.5). It is responsive and can thus be displayed on a variety of platforms, from desktops to laptops, tablets and mobile phones.
Optimised for SEO
Paradigm is optimised for both visitors and search engines thanks to a series of improvement:
- logical document titles hierarchy (H1 is for page title, not website title)
- tag pages accessible to search engines
- conditional meta title and description
- image optimisation
- microdata (schema.org)
- robots.txt file
It can be used with Zenphoto SEO plugins (sitemap generator for instance)
Ready for social
Social sharing buttons can be integrated with ShareThis or Addthis. Links to social profiles can be added to the footer. Meta Og tags and Twitter cards are also provided.
Fast
A specific .htaccess is provided with settings to improve page speed.
The theme uses a customized version of the 5Kb Slimbox script in replacement of slideshows.
Tracking enabled
Google Analytics can be easily integrated by providing your id. The code is the latest one (analytics.js). Parameters include two content groupings to better analyze your content.
