Lower chapel

This strange room is a chapel located just underneath the main chapel of the Fontdouce abbey. It was also full of rubble when the abbey restoration started and was cleared in 1976. This room is strange: it is located just underneath the main abbey church and has specific acoustics. When someone standing near the altar speaks, he can be heard from anywhere else in the room.
